Snuffer bottles are (or, 'sniffer bottles') are used to capture fine gold and pickers from your gold pan, move black sands out of the way or just hold your poke while out in the field prior to transferring to a vial. While all snuffer bottles are made of the same basic plastic materials to prevent breaking if dropped, they are not all made the same. Be sure to look for snuffer bottles that have a long continuous nipple to make transferring your fine gold to your vial as easy as pulling out the siphon tube and placing the tip in your vial and turn upside down to have your gold safely fall.

The Snuffer Bottle acts as a hand-held vacuum sucking the gold out of your pan when the plastic bottle is squeezed and released. Your gold is safely stored until you want to remove it from the bottle
