South End Prospecting Day Photos

Thanks to Matt Harlow for these pictures, who also managed to take home two pennyweights! Good for you Matt!

Members enjoyed the all day event at Waddell Creek, finding gold, enjoying conversation and great food, and a day of good weather.

We reclaimated the creek all day as we enjoyed the day prospecting. Thanks to Stan, Pat, Stan's dad, Chris, Todd and all who helped others along the creek all day.

A big thank you to our south enders, who made this get together one of the best. You all went out of your way to bring goodies to share, drinks and sides etc, for a wonderful burger BBQ.

Quite a bit of gold was found and it made a great day for all who attended.

Was hoping to make this event being a new member and living in the south end, but work has picked up and must make up for the slow winter. I was wanting to have one of those cheeseburgers that i have heard so much about . Next time!!!!

I had a great time! Thanks to Stan for showing us the area and to his dad for showing me tips on panning. I found a little gold and enjoyed talking with fellow members. The food and burgers were excellent!

Hey just wanted to pop in and say, my son and I made it to the south end event and had a blast. Our first time panning etc. Sorry I didn't socialize but wanted to make the best of time with my son. WOW! We were sore!!! LOL! and were the last ones out. Had a blast though. 5 flakes of gold in 3 sluice cleanups. Glitter sized! LOL! We will be back and hopefully see everyone at next outting. P.S the Burgers were very good! Thanks for lunch.
