It's knee deep with snow right now in Liberty, but still accessible for those of you who don't mind a little adventure! There's still gold in the snow! Us Washingtonian prospectors seem to brave the elements to cure our gold fever! Whatever it takes!
It is the gold show season. Here are a list of shows we are planning on attending:
- WPMA Gold, Gem & Mineral Show at the Evergreen fairgrounds-Monroe Feb 25-26.
- GPAA Gold & Treasure Show- Puyallup Fairgrounds, March 17-18
- GPAA show- Salem Oregon, March 24-25
- NCWP Gold & Treasure Show, April 21-22, Chelan County Fairgrounds, Cashmere, WA.
- GPAA Gold & Treasure Show, Spokane, WA. April 28-29
- GPAA- Reno, NV. May 19-20
- If we can get into the already full, ICMJ's Placerville Show we will be there: May 12-13.
- Brawn Manufacturing is going global with all of our equipment. We will be at this seasons local gold shows, with Prospectors Plus! Come support your one of a kind store and meet your fellow prospectors!
- The new Brawn Mfg/Prospectors Plus gold pan should be out by May. It is a two-in one pan. A speed and finsih pan combined. You don't want to miss out! These pans are one of a kind and were proud to say they are our very own design! www.brawnmanufacturing.com
- We are also in the middle of desinging a PP wave table! We will have our new larger scale trommel system for sale starting this month, at the WMPA show!
- Please keep emailing michele@prospectorsplus.com, if you would like to reserve a space for the Highbanking/prospecting outing sometime, hopefully this year at Chris and Michele's own private mine. This is a one in a lifetime opportunity! There is limited space.
- The beach outing, regardless of the bad weather was a success. peple had lots of fun and braved the elements. Reports were about a pennyweight a day of gold off the beaches! It took about two hours, coarse gold about 50 to 120 garins. YEY! Remember to attend the meeting Thursday, Feb 16, 6pm in Monteseno, city hall, to fight for our rights to prospect the beaches, without the state imposing more fees & paperwork! If you need to carpool, contact the store! We all need to show up and show our support for freedom at the beach!
- Prospectors Plus BBQ-Prospecting Spring Kick-OFF! March 10, we will be prospecting up Olney creek, busting bedrock, so bring your crackjacks, and snipers. Following, we will have a seminar on how to finish out cons at the store, potluck & BBQ.
- This year we are asking members to RSVP on the outings so we can provide enough BBQ and food for your enjoyment. Even though they are pot-luck too, we still provide the BBQ items and supplies. We will also be having a sign in sheet at all events, so please bring your active member cards with you for identification!
- If your looking for another place to prospect for gold near the store, Cedar Ponds in Monroe is a great place. You will need to break up bedrock to get to the gold, and you will also need your State Discover Pass. For directions call the store. Don't forget to ask about the crystal mine, garnet areas and other public land and properties.
- Don't forget to support the Resource Coalition. These are the folks that fight and support for our prospecting rights and priveldges. Applications at the store and membership is $25. Helps with legal and more for all of us.
